The 34th annual Festival for the Eno was a great success. Cooler temperatures and the addition of a beer tent, serviced by Georgia’s Sweet Water Brewing Company, made for much better attendance than the previous year. Music from local heroes Bombadil, The Mountain Goats, and Morning Brigade, as well as Katherine Whalen, Crystal Bright & the Silver Hands, Jamie Anderson, Tea Cup Gin, A Mad Affair, and many, many more, made for excellent entertainment both days of the festival. As always, the High Strung Hands on Music Tent provided our musical instrument petting zoo, free ukulele workshops, and performer CD Sales. Most importantly, of course, the Festival for the Eno served the mighty purpose of raising awareness and funds for the preservation of our beloved Eno river.
